Locker Room Adjacent’s first “Mic’d Up” video features The University of Western Ontario Men’s Ice Hockey Team during an inter squad game just before the players headed home for the holiday break. Players mic’d are Michael Boushy, Reed Morison, Andrew Bruder, and Riley MacRae.

Before joining the Mustangs, Boushy played just over 200 games in the OJHL between the Georgetown Raiders, Burlington Cougars, and Toronto Patriots. Boushy then moved on to the GOJHL where he joined the London Nationals, an affiliate team of the London Knights in the OHL. Boushy played just one season with the Nationals where he put up a whopping 76 points in 46 games, averaging 1.65 points per game. He is now in his third season with Western.

Morison, a WHL and AJHL vet, has spent time with the Portland Winterhawks (WHL), Kootenay Ice (now known as the Winnipeg Ice in the WHL), Calgary Canucks (AJHL), and Fort McMurray Oil Barons (AJHL). He is now in his fourth season with the Mustangs.

Bruder, an OHL vet, played three seasons with the Niagara IceDogs (OHL) racking up over 150 games played. Bruder went on to play one season with the Edmundston Blizzard of the MJAHL after his time with the IceDogs, before coming to Western where he is now in his second season with the Mustangs.

MacRae, like Morison, is also in his fourth season with Western. Before joining the Mustangs he spent time playing across the OHL, QMJHL, OJHL, and GOJHL. He played for the Erie Otters (OHL), Moncton Wildcats (QMJHL), Cambridge Winter Hawks (GOJHL), Cobourg Cougars (OJHL), and the London Nationals (GOJHL).
